The Role Itself
As a Substance Abuse Counselor or Therapist at Leora you will have the opportunity to :
- Provide PHP, IOP, and OP treatment for clients struggling with substance use and mental health disorders.
- Provide group, individual, and family therapy using evidence based treatment models.
- Develop treatment plans with clients and their support system.
- Engage with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications / Experience Requirements :
- License / Education / Certification : LSW (BSW, MSW), LISW, LPC, LPCC, LCDC, LICDC or relevant licensure
- 2 years previous experience in a Mental Health setting. (Preferred)
- At least 1 year previous experience in group counseling. (Preferred)
- Experience working with severe and persistent mental illness, trauma, and co-occurring substance use disorders. (Preferred)
