- Oversee contract reviews, ensuring compliance with obligations while managing complex government and commercial proposals through finalization.
- Ensure government contracts align with FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, from initiation to renewal or termination, mitigating risks by reviewing terms and ensuring adherence to regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information, ensuring contract terms meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a liaison, facilitating clear communication between all parties involved in the contract process.
- Lead and participate in key meetings with customers and internal teams regarding contract matters.
- Maintain and store all contracts in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor contract performance, tracking key dates, obligations, and deliverables to ensure compliance.
- Provide senior management with reports and updates on contract status and performance.
- Develop and implement best practices for contract management, with a focus on government contract processes.
- May supervise or guide junior staff in contract management activities.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. Certification in contract management (e.g., Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)) a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration with a focus on commercial and government contracts.
- Knowledge of ITAR regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of contract administration principles, industry practices, regulations and policies.
- Strong knowledge of government contract law, FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an MRP system.
- Must be a US Citizenship or Permanent Residency as requirements of ITAR
