Job Description
Tyler Pipe Texas is hiring a Commercial Development Manager. We are looking for an experienced sales professional to establish themselves and the McWane Plumbing Group in the Cast Iron & Coupling market by directing, maintaining, and growing our commercial real estate developers, building owner groups, hospital facilities base.
Through the establishment of meaningful business relationships with our customer base the sales professional will gather important and factual market information while providing quality customer service in support of the sales, profitability goals, and technical issues for the assigned territory.
- Represent McWane Plumbing Group and Tyler Pipe & Coupling in a way that is moral, ethical, and positive.
- Establish relationships with owners / decision makers of Commercial Real Estate Developers, Building Owner groups, Hospital Facilities, and various Hospitality groups.
- Convert commercial jobs using PVC to Cast Iron Pipe.
- Develop presentations for target audiences to help solidify Cast Iron in commercial construction.
- Establish tracking system to update Executive Management on progress towards sales.
- Be able to manage budgets, expenses, and travel.
- Maintain current and accurate knowledge of Local Plumbing Codes and Standards in major markets.
- Work with other divisions within McWane Plumbing Group to establish good communication on customer base and current / future jobs.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel at least 60% of the time to national locations as needed.
- Must have four (4) year college degree or five (5) plus years of experience in Plumbing Sales / Engineering field.
- Have and maintain an excellent driving record to follow the McWane company vehicle policy.
- Proficient in MS Office with excellent technical, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
