Job Summary : The Project Assistant performs assigned duties in support of a project or program.
Additional Department Summary : Reports to the Employer Relations Director within the Career Center. Assists the Director with supporting employer engagement events such as information sessions, tablings, mixers, on-campus interviews, and other miscellaneous employer related events.
This position will work approximately 20 hours per week during the months of June, July, September, October, and November 2024.
Schedule will be flexible and based on events happening with employers on campus each week.
Required Minimum Qualifications : High school diploma or GED.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications : High levels of interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and public relations skills and excellent customer service skills are essential for this position.
Skills and Knowledge : Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously and effective performance within a team environment.
Proficiency in the operation of personal computers and software. Experience with online recruiting systems. Excellent customer service focus.
Excellent attention to detail. Ability to perform multiple tasks successfully at a fast pace. Ability to learn new skills quickly.
