PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $134,200.00-$164,000.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $104,200.00 - $194,000.
00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant.
Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

The Senior Solutions Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge products and exceptional experiences for both internal and external BECU members, as well as business and technology customers.
Collaborating closely with business partners, you will drive the development of innovative solutions through technical design, setting BECU apart in the market.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :
- Facilitate Strategic Solution Design : Partner with business stakeholders to understand their strategic goals and translate their needs into detailed systems designs, ensuring that the solutions support non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with Enterprise and Solutions Architecture : Work closely with architectural teams to design new solutions and integrate new technologies, contributing to the higher-level design process within the team.
- Develop Secure Application Solutions : Design, integrate, and code patterns for strong and secure application development, with a focus on creating cloud-ready consumer financial solutions to enhance the existing ecosystem.
- Prototype and Solution Development : Work with technology and business partners to build prototypes and solutions that address business challenges within consumer financial product domains.
- Communication and Thought Leadership : Regularly present and communicate technical topics within BECU, maintaining a strong presence in software solution discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS : Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum 5 years of applied experience in coding, designing, and implementing solutions in consumer financial products.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with consumer financial products, specializing in UX, integration, and API layer.
- Experience with one of the following : .NET, C#, node.js, modern JavaScript Frameworks, or Python.
- Proficiency in SOLID design principles, Object-Oriented Programming and Design.
- Experience with public cloud technologies including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS offerings.
- Proficient understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems and tools.
Desired Qualifications :
- Advanced degree in relevant field preferred.
- System administration and automation with Powershell or bash.
- Previous experience leading and collaborating within a team to deliver solutions through all aspects of the SDLC.
- Experience presenting in front of technically adept and non-technical audiences.
