About the Role :
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality, reliable software. You will apply your experience and knowledge to transform requirements into actionable test plans and detailed test cases.
This work will also result in reports and metrics, allowing us to improve continuously. In addition, you will have ownership over the quality of significant deliverables and will collaborate with multiple engineers and teams to drive success.
You will :
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test reports
Implement API automation test (headless) with jest / mocha, browser automation test with cypress
Perform both manual and automated tests to ensure product quality
Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs
Promote a culture of quality work throughout the organization as a quality champion
Track quality assurance metrics and identify ways to improve
An ideal candidate has :
3+ years of experience in browser automation testing (e.g., WebDriver / Selenium)
3+ years of experience reviewing product requirements and design, creating test plans / test cases, and testing mobile OR web-based applications
2+ years of Cypress experience
2+ years of JavaScript or TypeScript
High standards for coding and development best practices
Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of CI / CD
Experience testing pure API products (headless) is a plus
Software development experience is a plus
Compensation : Base pay range of $40,000 - $60,000 + Incentive + Series B equity with tremendous upside potential + Attractive benefits
