Position Summary :
As the Lead Director of Talent Practices and Insights, you are in a pivotal role that will leverage talent data, internal and external trends, employee performance, and engagement insights to enhance our enterprise talent management strategy.
You will provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights to Chief People Officers (CPOs) and senior leaders to enhance and develop initiatives to optimize employee development and retention.
This role will allow you to leverage analytic tools including the Workday system and industry trends and best practices.
You will accomplish this by :
Talent Strategy Development : Contributing to the formulation of the enterprise talent management strategy based on data findings, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives.
Strategic Thought Partner : Leverage data-driven insights to proactively influence BU talent strategies in partnership with CPOs.
Collaboration : Working closely with cross-functional teams including HRBPs, HR COEs, HR Reporting & Analytics, Enterprise Workforce Strategic Planning and HR technology to ensure alignment of talent strategies with broader organizational objectives.
Talent Insight Upskilling : Expanding the reach of proactive talent data utilization and analysis across Talent Management and HRBP communities.
Continuous Improvements and Best Practices : Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to improve talent management practices.
Data Analysis : Utilizes data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from workforce data, including employee performance, engagement, and retention rates.
Metrics Monitoring : Establishing and monitoring KPIs to measure the effectiveness of talent management initiatives. Drive adoption of talent data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.
Reporting and Presentations : Creating and delivering reports and presentations to communicate key insights and recommendations to the Talent Management Leadership Team (TMLT) and HR leaders.
Required Qualifications :
8+ years of experience in Talent Management, HR analytics, or related field.
3+ years of experience with Workday Talent suite while in a Talent Management HR COE.
8+ years of experience in data management and analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL, SAS, Tableau, or PowerBI).
Willingness to travel (up to 10%) based on business needs; including air plane travel
Preferred Qualifications :
Ability to analyze raw data sets and glean insights to tell a story leveraging data visualization techniques.
Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into effective talent management strategies.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams including HR, IT, and business leaders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and actionable manner.
Ability to understand industry trends and best practices in talent management.
Proven ability to adapt to evolving business needs, technological advancements, and changes in the talent management landscape.
A master’s degree or relevant certification is preferred.
Education :
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, I / O psychology, or related field required; equivalent work experience may substitute
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is :
$100,000.00 - $231,500.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
