The Community Manager for the will be dedicated to owning program management and driving growth within our vibrant community of Snowflake experts and advocates.

This position is responsible for supporting the most pivotal community relationships as we scale community initiatives around the globe.

Support our team culture by working in the office 2-3 days a week. This means you’ll have to live within commuting distance of the office you’ll be working in.

Role is based out of our San Mateo, CA office or Bellevue, WA office*

AS A COMMUNITY MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL :

  • Develop and implement strategies to scale the Data Superheroes program, driving awareness, membership growth, a broad range of expertise, and global presence.
  • Foster a vibrant and supportive community environment through effective communication, including regular announcements, best practices, and spotlights.
  • Work with teams across Snowflake, including Product, Brand & Creative, Partner, Events, and Social, to create and curate content that will keep the Superheroes informed, inspired, and engaged.
  • Organize and manage Data Superhero events, including technical enablement sessions, presence at key conferences, and invite-only councils.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Data Superheros, addressing inquiries and providing support as needed, ensuring a positive member experience.
  • Monitor and analyze community metrics to measure the success of Superhero initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and report on growth trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align community activities with overall business goals and strategies, supporting broader marketing objectives.

OUR IDEAL COMMUNITY MANAGER WILL HAVE :

  • Proven experience in community management, preferably within the tech or data industry, with a track record of driving community growth.
  • Ability to engage with a technical audience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with community management tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to report on engagement & growth trends.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Passion for fostering community growth, building meaningful relationships, and expanding program reach.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role :

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $113,000 - $152,200.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.

  • This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes : medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance;
