We are currently seeking a dynamic Regional Manager to join our Leadership Team! The Regional Property Manager is responsible for the long-term operating performance of a portfolio of up to 1000 units across Ventura County and LA County.
The Regional Property Manager develops and executes strategic plans depending on the individual needs of each property, implements revenue enhancing programs, and monitors the financial performance of each property.
The Regional Property Manager accurately forecasts changing market dynamics and makes prompt, appropriate business decisions that are in the best interest of the property and in accordance with the owner’s goals and objectives.
Financial results will be derived through exceptional leadership and coaching of on-site employees and clear communication of goals and expectations.
The Regional Property Manager assists senior management and other functional managers with special projects and other related work as needed.
Minimum Education and / or Experience :
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or two to four years related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Certificates / Licenses :
- Valid California Driver’s License.
- Real Estate License required.
- CPM, CAPS, and / or CAM preferred.
Essential Skills and Abilities :
- 3-5 years of strong residential property management experience in a similar position.
- Multi-site experience required.
- Excellent and proven leadership skills. Assertive and self-motivated.
- Excellent, diplomatic and effective communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with tenants, vendors, peers and management.
- Working knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws including Fair Housing, Equal Employment Opportunity, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) standards.
- Knowledge of residential property maintenance, marketing, operations and financials / budgets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel required. Proficient in Property Management Software (Yardi preferred).
