A leading utility provider located in New York, NY is looking for a GIS Developer for a 6 month contract.
Please note that this is a hybrid position based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Pay Rate Range : $60 - $65 / hr
Work Mode : Hybrid, minimum 2-3 days onsite per week.
Requirements and skills
- 5-10 years of experience of administration, support, and development ArcGIS applications
- 5-10 years of experience in administrating and supporting ArcFM applications
- Development and coding experiences using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS JavaScript API, .Net (C#).
- Support Landbase applications including new development and troubleshooting requests.
- Experience deploying ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.
- System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
- Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
- Coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc.
- Ability to understand requirements and support team and share best practices / lessons learnt.
- Provide status of the tickets to the client SME.
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution to issues reported by end users of the enterprise applications.
- Windows servers administration experience.
Preferred Skills
Utility Experience (Plus) : Leverage utility industry experience to enhance GIS solutions and contribute to industry-specific initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide development and technical support to the agency ArcGIS and ArcFM based Enterprise GIS system and applications.
- Take up development for minor enhancements using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, ASP .net (C#).
- Support agency Landbase applications including new development and troubleshooting requests.
- Setup new ETL process using FME Workbench
- Deploy ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.
- System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
- Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
- Coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc.
