Position Summary :

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Their duties include basic plumbing, heating, and wiring; identifying, planning, and scheduling major repairs, general repairs of NHOMS-MassOMS buildings and equipment;

general courier of company assets between locations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Maintenance : Perform maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment, including repairs, painting, and patching
• Inspections : Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to ensure safety standards are met
• Cleaning : Perform general cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Record keeping : Maintain accurate records of work performed
• Safety : Follow safety precautions and adhere to set schedules
• Communication : Interact with various individuals, including managers, surgeons, operations staff, and company employees

Requirements :

Required Skills & Abilities :

• Able to lift 75 lbs occasionally
• Able to follow directions and work independently
• Ability to travel to 14 locations in NH and MA.
• Outdoor and roof work may be required.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude : possess the skills to assemble using hand and power tools.
• Ability to complete required production documentation.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
