Whatyou’ll achieve
Work withour internal partners (Chief Technology Office, System Architects,Platform Planners) to architect new and innovative experiencesspanning firmware, software and hardware for our client platforms.
Provide strong technical point of view in decisions when collaborating across multiple lines of business; including industrial design, marketing, usability, quality, andreliability.
Youwill :
- Create,design and review architectural collateral, documenting the scopeof our firmware features. Prototype potential solutions tocomprehendfeasibility
- Gatherbusiness requirements and drive product definition andprioritization for firmware features. Influence the hardwareand software direction for features that span beyondfirmware
- GenerateIntellectual Property to protectinnovations
- Balanceshort term versus long term actions, strategic vs tacticalrequirements, while continuing to align the architectural road mapto achieve the strategicvision
- Assess andoptimize program tradeoffs such as cost, performance, quality, andschedule, while making the proper feature tradeoffs betweenfirmware, electrical, power and thermalrequirements

EssentialRequirements
- Bachelorsor higher degree in computer science, electrical engineering or asimilar field, with 15+ years of industryexperience
- UEFI BIOSand / or Embedded Controller development experience with Intel and / orAMD x86, and ARM systemarchitectures
- Excellentcommunication (both written and verbal), interpersonal skills andexperience in presenting to business and technical teams in aneffective and persuasive manner.
High degree of efficacy tonavigate and relate to multiple audience levels. Strongleadership skills
- Strong system level architecture experience for both hardwareandfirmware.
- Familiaritywith various hardware bus interfacessuch as PCI, SMBUS, USB Type C, LPC, I2C,etc
DesirableRequirements
- Experience using analyzers and other hardware tools to debug complexsystem softwareissues
- Experience withJira and Confluence
Compensation
Dellis committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Thesalary range for this position is $215,000 -$278,000.
