Delaware County Community College (DCCC), located outside of the Philadelphia Metro area, is looking for a talented and dynamic Adjunct Instructor to join our team of faculty who are committed to student success.

The Allied Health, Emergency Services, and Nursing Division of Delaware County Community College seeks part-time, adjunct instructors to teach day and / or evening courses in Allied Health.
Divisional needs include teaching online, hybrid, or traditional classes at the Marple Campus or branch campuses including Southeast, and / or Upper Darby Centers
Essential Functions
- The successful candidate will teach courses using approved master course outline to meet approved course competencies and learning outcomes;
- Collaborate with full-time faculty and assist in assessment process by using approved assessment tools and submitting data;
- Develop a well-organized and detailed syllabus in alignment with college guidelines; Give timely feedback to students on assignments, quizzes, exams, projects;
- Clearly communicate coursework expectations to students; Implement effective teaching techniques in the learning environment that are engaging and student focused;
- Utilize instructional technology in the classroom with ease; Demonstrate and support professional commitment to the Allied Health, Emergency Services and Nursing Division and to the College;
Assist students with accessing appropriate college resources when needed; Attend Professional Development In-service events and divisional meetings.

Experience & Education
Qualified candidates will have experience in Allied Health profession with a broad base of knowledge in the medical field.
A willingness to teach at our various branch campuses or online. Familiarity with instructional technology and course management systems.
A c ommitment to working with a diverse student population. Prior teaching experience in a community college or similar environment is preferred.
A Masters degree in Healthcare or related field required.

Adjunct credit faculty participate in the College's 403(b) plan.
