Construction Quality Assurance Inspector

Due to continued growth in its operations, this company is seeking a Construction Quality Assurance Specialist with experience in replacement and rehabilitation work.

This role requires a NICET III / IV certification and extensive experience in construction inspections, particularly in major infrastructure rehabilitation projects.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring project schedules and budgets, coordinating with clients, agencies, and contractors, and ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.

Focus :

Conduct construction inspection for major infrastructure rehabilitation projects. Monitor and track project schedule and budget.

Interface with clients / agencies and contractors. Coordinate and track all project plans and drawings.

Skill Set :

Possess NICET III / IV certification coupled with substantial expertise in conducting construction inspections. Strong New Jersey experience, particularly with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and New Jersey Transit Bridge and / or Bus Facilities projects.

ACI-CCTC, ACI, and TCP certifications (Rutgers) required. Familiarity with New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s Cap-Ex system and Operations.

Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures. Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans and specifications. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple team members.

Physical ability and coordination to safely maneuver around construction sites.
