Overview

United Language Group (ULG) is looking for a Mixteco (Alto / Bajo) native speaker for OPI (Over the phone) interpretation. Work from home. Interpreters are independent contractors with flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Provide over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) services.
  • Handle interpretation requests across various industries (customer service, social services, 911, tech support, utilities, hot lines, medical, etc.).
  • Log in / out to establish availability in a 24 / 7 operation.

Requirements

  • Serious commitment; flexible availability for calls.
  • Must pass language proficiency assessment.
  • Desktop or laptop (no tablets); Google Chrome; Windows 8 or newer.
  • Headset with microphone.
