Medical Collections Specialist/Medical Billing Specialist

Volt is immediately hiring Medical Collections Specialist / Medical Billing Specialist in Livermore, CA 94550

As a Medical Collections Specialist / Medical Billing Specialist, you will :

• 2-3 years of office experience in medical billing / collections required
• Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB’s) and understanding of copays, coinsurance, deductibles and denial codes.
• Serve as the liaison between insurance companies, patients and the departments;
• Ensure claims are processed and followed up to meet company goals of account receivable days, aging account percentages and cash goals;
• Research and answer all questions and complaints, regarding patient responsibility balances and billing inquiries sent to them through the customer call center with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
• Attention to detail and have the ability to prioritize independently
• Proficient customer service skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office

Schedule : 7 : 30 AM 4 : 00 PM

This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity.

Pay Rate : $24 - $25 per hour.
