Plumbing Apprentice

Pumping Solutions, Inc. in the New York Tri-State area is actively seeking a full-time Plumbing Apprentice to improve their skills as they assist our experienced plumbers with troubleshooting, servicing, and installing piping systems.

Our plumbing apprentices typically work a full-time schedule with overtime labor as needed. They must also be on-call about once every two months on the weekend.

This apprenticeship position comes with a competitive wage of $17 / hr and up , depending on experience. Additionally, the pay for on-call labor is time and a half! We provide excellent benefits and perks , including a 401(k) plan and a performance-based end-of-the-year bonus .

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PLUMBING APPRENTICE

In this apprenticeship, you are eager to learn! You ask questions, observe, and emulate the values we adhere to here at Pumping Solutions.

You go out in the field with technicians to gain hands-on experience. As you assist them and help increase their efficiency, they mentor and train you on everything from how to talk with customers to how to properly install, repair, and maintain equipment.

You also help keep trucks, tools, and job sites clean and organized.

You are a hard worker who does whatever is asked of you and pays close attention to what you're being taught. You enjoy interacting with customers and fellow employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of plumbing experience
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to speak English
• Willing to work in NYC
