Staff Accountant (Entry Level)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an Entry Level Staff Accountant.

The candidate must be comfortable working 100% onsite in Barrington. The candidate MUST also have an Accounting or finance degree PLUS an accounting or finance internship or accounting or finance job of at least several months in order to qualify.

Worksite Location : 100% Onsite in Barrington, IL

Pay : $22-24 / hour

The Staff Accountant is an entry level position and will be responsible in assisting the accounting department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the company.

This is role will perform a variety of tasks within the accounting department including but not limited to month end close, bank reconciliation, reconciliation of balance sheets accounts, preparing customer statements, bills and invoices, and miscellaneous day-to-day responsibilities.

Requirements :

BS / BA in Accounting or finance is a MUST

Ability to manage multiple priorities with a demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness

Must have intermediate computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

good communication skills

Hours : 8-5 (maybe some flex), OT during Month-end close is possible, other than that, very friendly work life balance.

Basic Excel : Create Spreadsheets and maybe some formulas.
