Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled Domain Architect to join our client's IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for all architecture and design decisions within your assigned domain.
You will work closely with the Domain Leadership Team to drive technology strategy and influence technology direction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cloud technologies (particularly AWS services), InfoSec, Microservices, APIs, and data integration patterns.
As a Domain Architect, you will create and maintain business architecture artifacts and domain technology roadmaps. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, from Business Executives to Developers, to ensure that proposed technology solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, adhere to Architecture Standards, and align with the company's long-term digital transformation strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Engage with the domain as part of the Domain Leadership Team to drive consensus on Technology Strategy
Create and maintain Business Capability maps and value streams for the domain
Develop current and target state architectures for the domain
Validate technology feasibility of business cases and concept proposals
Partner with Solution Architects to create high-level designs and validate low-level designs
Provide oversight on all designs presented in Domain Architecture Office Hours
Represent the domain in all architectural governance routines
Collaborate with other domain architects to identify cross-domain impacts on design
Mentor Solution Architects and provide guidance on fit-for-purpose solutions
Document key decisions, artifacts, risks, and impediments related to design items
Required Experience / Skills :
4-5 years of professional experience as an Architect in IT technologies
Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies, particularly AWS services
Strong background in InfoSec, Microservices, APIs, and data integration patterns
Experience with enterprise application portfolio management and technology portfolio management
Excellent communication, solution providing, and articulation skills
Ability to present technical, functional, and managerial information to various stakeholders
Experience in architecting secure, scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant distributed applications
Nice-to-Haves :
Experience with EA frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman
Familiarity with EAM tools like LeanIX, Ardoc, or ArchiMate
Background in the automotive industry
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
