The hiring salary range for this position is $5,604.56 - $7,006.58 / month or $2,802.28 - $3,503.29 / semi-monthly depending on qualifications.
DRCOG is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) as a Program Manager (PM) overseeing the Choice Services-Transportation Program.
This key position will manage and support the AAA's Transportation team.
As a Program Manager within the Transportation team, you will provide direct supervision and guidance to staff handling the ADRC’s Transportation phone line, ensuring high-quality support and coordination of transportation services for older adults and adults with disabilities.
The PM will play a crucial role in overseeing the program’s operations, ensuring efficient service delivery by contracted providers, including direct service transportation providers and a call center that handles ride scheduling.
Key Responsibilities :
- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the AAA's Transportation Program, ensuring that transportation services are accessible and meet the needs of the community.
- Managing relationships with contracted transportation service providers, ensuring they adhere to performance standards and deliver effective services.
- Using data and performance metrics to assess program efficiency, make informed decisions, and implement changes that maximize transportation resources and expand access for older adults.
- Providing support, supervision, and training to the team responsible for coordinating transportation requests through the ADRC Transportation phone line.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement new transportation initiatives that align with the AAA's mission to help older adults and individuals with disabilities maintain independence within their communities.
The ideal candidate will :
- Possess advanced knowledge of transportation resources for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and "outside the box" to find solutions.
- Have experience managing service contracts, supervising teams, and making data-driven decisions to improve program outcomes.
- Be well-versed in Solution-Focused Intervention and strength-based service delivery, with the ability to support consumers and staff in achieving their goals.

Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in social work, gerontology or a related field and five to seven years of professional human services experience and two years of supervisory experience.
A Master’s Degree in a field directly related to assignment may be preferred. Some assignments may require additional education, certifications and / or licenses.
OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
