Key ResponsibilitiesManage the investigation of disputed Short-Term and Long-Term Disability claims through the appeals processAssess medical, financial, and non-medical information to resolve disputed claimsInterpret policy provisions and ensure compliance with state and federal regulationsRequired Qualifications and EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor's degree preferredAt least three years of experience with Short-Term and Long-Term Disability claimsIn-depth understanding of state and federal compliance issues related to claims and appealsFamiliarity with medical terminology and conditionsProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Word
