Job DescriptionYour new role
As our new Environmental Sampling Technician, you will be responsible for collecting samples from various environmental media, including water, soil, and air to assess remedial system performance, identify potential sources of contamination, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
You will also be responsible for collaborating with other team members to support remedial system report development. This role is critical in monitoring environmental health and supporting remediation efforts.
Your key responsibilities will be :
- Conduct fieldwork to collect environmental samples (water, air, soil, and biological samples) in accordance with established procedures and protocols
- Use and maintain a variety of sampling equipment, such as pumps, gauges, and GPS devices
- Prepare reports and documentation of sampling activities, including any anomalies or pertinent observations
- Collaborate with a team of environmental professionals to develop remediation strategies and pollution prevention plans
- Adhere to quality control measures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of samples and data

These include :
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Experience as an environmental sampling technician or similar role
- Understanding of environmental sampling techniques and equipment
- Basic understanding and knowledge of a personal computer, including MS Office and email
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and various weather conditions
- Capacity for physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; lifting;
recurring bending or similar activities
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to different sites as needed

The salary range for this position is $52,184 - $65,230.
