Manager, GPO Contracts Development & Process at Cardinal Health in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description What GPO Manufacturer Sales and Solutions contributes to Cardinal Health The Manager, GPO Contracts Development & Process , on behalf of the GPO Manufacturer Sales and Solutions team, works collaboratively with pharmaceutical partners in order to orchestrate GPO product contractual agreements throughout the review and redline process.
Location - Remote / work-from-home work structure with expectation of some air travel for business critical meetings (client visits, etc) throughout the year (roughly 10-15%) Responsibilities + Conduct first-pass review of contracts, amendments, CDAs, MSAs from product manufacturers + New agreements- review alignment to GPO standard template for inclusion of required legal language + Existing agreements- review alignment to original agreement and prior amendments + Determine appropriate 2nd line reviewers / approvers.
Route to appropriate team members and Account Executive aligned to manufacturer + Monitor & track edits and approvals as received from reviewers + Consolidate redlines / comments, review / work with AE, and upon approval, return redlines to manufacturer + Coordinate Virtual meeting with manufacturer for review of redlines- if applicable - conduct real-time editing during meeting + Track agreement processing to ensure timely processing for execution prior to established Effective Date + Upon completion, route fully executed document to internal team members and process storage of document.
Maintains document storage system + Provide any additional support as determined by Manager and Account Executive team + Travel as needed for customer meetings Qualifications + Ideally targeting 8+ years of experience, preferred (looking for 5 years of experience with contract and master services agreement, red-lining and / or negotiations) + GPOs, pharmaceutical industry and / or distribution experience highly preferred + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) + Customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills required + Experience with Sales Force and Contract Lifecycle Management Systems preferred What is expected of you and others at this level + Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects + Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals + To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
