Senior Underwriter - Fleet
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our team, responsible for managing and underwriting the trucking accounts in our fleet department.
The successful candidate will apply their expertise in risk analysis and pricing to ensure profitability while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwriting and managing the trucking accounts in our fleet department
- Assessing and analyzing risk in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
- Collaborating with general agents to develop, price, and submit new business proposals.
- Renewing and remarketing existing business to ensure customer retention.
- Providing guidance and support to junior underwriters as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fleet Underwriting, with a focus on trucking accounts.
- Proven track record of working with Motor Carrier Coverage Forms and working with general agents.
- Strong risk analysis skills and ability to develop pricing strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
