onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join our Supplier Quality Team with a role based in Hudson, NH.
- Evaluate new material suppliers in support the assigned onsemi manufacturing site
- Train new suppliers in onsemi’s onboarding requirements
- Conduct supplier audits according to IATF and VDA6.3 requirements
- Enforce onsemi’s requirements for strong quality culture and performance from new product introduction through safe launch and final production qualification
- Collaborate with process and device teams to define and publish product requirements
- Represent supplier quality for qualification requirements of new suppliers and products
- Monitor supplier performance issuing supplier ratings
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve supplier issues using 8D methodology
- Participate in supplier business reviews alongside Sourcing managers
- Participate in customer and 3rd party Quality audits representing Supplier Quality
- Drive supplier performance in support of Hudson, NH site goals for Quality and Operations
- Support cost improvement initiatives to qualify new suppliers
- Participate in onsemi project and improvement teams
- Act as a backup SQE for other team members as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in : Engineering, Science, Quality or related discipline
- 5 plus years’ experience in semiconductor, SiC, engineering, quality, supply chain, equipment maintenance or equivalent
- Willingness to travel (up to 20% of time) for supplier visits and audits
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics and drawing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Automotive Tools : Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA), PSW (Part Submission Warrant)
- IATF16949, AS9100D and / or VDA 6.3 certified Lead Auditor experiences
- Strong time management / project management capabilities
- Mastery of Six Sigma methodologies (BB or GB)
- Solid analytic and articulation skills
- Semiconductor Equipment, SiC, Wafer Fab Process or Manufacturing experience
