Job Summary : The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions.
This position will be responsible for a variety of HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Recruitment and Onboarding :
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Employee Relations :
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.Address employee relations issues and provide guidance on conflict resolution.
Performance Management :
Assist in the development and implementation of performance management programs.Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting goals.
Compliance :
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Training and Development :
Coordinate and facilitate training programs for employees.Identify training needs and develop training materials.
Benefits Administration :
Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs.Provide information and support to employees regarding benefits.
HR Projects :
Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and programs.Collaborate with other departments to support company goals and objectives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
