Responsibilities
- Lead the application development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Manage the end-to-end application development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
- Ensure code quality, security, and scalability through best practices in software development.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, supporting their growth and technical development.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance development practices and improve application performance.
- Manage project resources effectively to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in application development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong technical expertise in relevant programming languages / technologies, e.g., Java, .NET, Python .
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing development team.
