The University of Lynchburg, a private, regional university in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia, invites applications for a full-time, exempt Director of Evaluation, Assessment, and Compliance (DEAC) position for the College of Medical Science.
This is a residential position requiring the successful candidate to work on-campus. The candidate for the Director of Evaluation, Assessment, and Compliance (DEAC) position must be a motivated PA with a proven record of success in leadership and data analysis.
The candidate must also be an active advocate for the PA profession and interested in advancing the future of the profession.
The DEAC will work collaboratively with the College of Medical Science leadership team, and the faculty and staff. The faculty and staff are highly skilled and dedicated educators, leaders, and clinicians committed to creating educational opportunities that will expand the scope of practice and utilization of PAs worldwide.

Specific Job Duties :
Responsible for being a collaborative leader in the College of Medical Science under the direction of the Program Directors (PDs) and Dean of the College.
Responsible for being a faculty administrator for the College of Medical Science.
Responsible for instruction, service, and scholarship within the College and the University.
Manage the continuous evaluation, assessment, and compliance of all College programs in compliance with the underlying governing accreditation bodies.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and institutional administrative offices as directed.

Qualifications
Preferred qualifications :
Preferred candidates will have extensive experience as a PA in the fields of data analysis, clinical practice, education, and / or administration.
Preferred candidates will demonstrate progressive leadership experience, including prior experience in an administrative role.
Education :
Graduate of an accredited PA program
NCCPA certified, and hold a doctorate from a regionally accredited institution
Current or eligible for Virginia medical license is required
