HCT seeks an experienced nursing leader to serve as a Clinical Nurse Educator for Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU), at a 350 bed hospital in California.
The Clinical Nurse Educator's responsibilities include :
- planning, developing, implementing, teaching, and evaluating training programs for a variety of clinical staff with the goal of improving care and advancing patient care practices, and
- serving as a leader, role model, and consultant for educational practices and patient care delivery.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Education : Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (BSN) required; (MSN preferred
- Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of direct, clinical experience in Pediatric Intensive Care / Pediatrics combined with experience as a clinical educator;
- strong communication skills; effective interpersonal skills;
- License : Current CA RN license required
- Certifications : ACLS,PALS, BLS required
- Computer Skills : Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred
