Our client, a Financial Services firm, seeks an experienced Marketing / Special Projects Coordinator. This position is on-site five days a week.
The Marketing Special Projects Coordinator will report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to help support the marketing / events initiatives of the local Network Office (NO) located in NYC, and the District Offices (DO) located in Wellesley, MA, Braintree, MA, and Providence, RI.
This position’s main function is to assist the CMO and existing marketing team in launching a new arm of the department focused on building the businesses of junior-to mid-level advisors.
This position requires a mixed skillset in data analysis, event planning and execution, and digital marketing. The right candidate will be able to combine their technical skills with creative vision to help reach the goal of the marketing department, which is to expand marketing’s reach and impact on the Network Office.
Supporting the CMO :
Conduct data analysis, prepare reports, and present key insights.
Identify trends, suggest optimizations, and contribute fresh ideas.
Supporting Junior to Mid-Level Financial Advisors :
Plan and execute engagement initiatives.
Provide coaching on event strategies and assist in developing this new department.
Supporting Network and District Offices :
Help organize and execute internal events, including agency, regional, annual, leadership, and philanthropic meetings.
General Responsibilities :
Manage event calendars, budgets, and support PR, brand-building and community engagement efforts.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years’ marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in event planning, marketing, or communications preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and take independent action in high-stress situations, to make sound decisions with minimal oversight
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High proficiency in social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook and X)
- Proficiency in creative design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Photoshop
- Available to manage multiple night / weekend projects as determined by event schedule
This position is based on-site in the Midtown New York office, with travel to Wellesley and Braintree, MA, and Providence, RI, required, as needed (estimated travel 1x / month, every other month, on average).
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
