Position : Structural Forensic Engineer

Location : Louisiana (Remote)

Terms : Full-Time

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough site investigations to assess damages due to catastrophes such as storm damage, hurricanes, and floods
  • Prepare reports that clearly portray cause and origin of failure, extent of loss, and recommended solutions.
  • Provide expert opinions and analysis to support or refute claims.
  • Act as an expert witness in legal proceedings, providing testimony based on your findings and analysis
  • Support and mentor other engineering staff when required

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer in Louisiana (PE)
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • 8+ years structrual engineering experience
  • 3+ years forensics experience
  • Strong analytical and field inspection skills
  • Deposition and Expert Testimony experience
  • Experience with storm damage

Additional :

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • US driving license
  • Willingness to travel
