Job Overview
As a Social Worker, you will advocate and help assigned patients gain access to resources while confronting their medical and behavioral issues, provide patients with recommendations and behavioral interventions.
In this role you will be a part of the Integrated Medical Team and you will report to the Chief Behavioral Health and Addictions Officer.
- Primary responsibility is to do intake assessments, and / or to do pre-interviews with patients, which range from 15-20 minutes.
- Share results with senior team members as needed, with initial recommendation for next step within the program. (Program is largely an addiction treatment program)
- See 12-15 patients per day, documenting meeting notes, etc., and providing referrals as appropriate.
This is a great place to gain training within an outpatient treatment center, with the support of a highly collaborate team!
Education / Training
- Master’s degree in social work
- Active LCSW or LMHC
- New Grads and Recent Grads Welcome!
Experience / Skills
- 1-2 years’ experience of post-degree clinical experience preferred, but new grads welcome. (More experience or education will be reviewed for additional potential compensation).
- Experience working with substance use disorder patient populations.
