Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Optometrist who can provide optometry services to residents at a Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, Texas.

Requirements :
- Must have an active U.S. optometry license from the Texas Optometry Board and it must not have restrictions.
- Must be fully trained and,at minimum, have five years relevant experience.
- All services provided must meet the standard required by the Medical Director.
Responsibilities :
- Provide Optometry visits for residents as necessary.
- Examine eyes for both vision and health problems and may correct refractive errors by prescribing eyeglasses.
- Deliver high quality medical services to individuals with intellectual disabilities in accordance with current accepted medical practice.
- Have knowledge of methods and procedures in the field of general medicine and of the principle of development.
- Implement and document individualized care and treatment in Optometry.
- Utilize skill in the care and treatment of patients and in the use of medical diagnostics and optometry services.
