Counselor - Partials

Overview

Full Time Counselor Castle Program at Virtua Hospital in Camden and Berlin

Day Counselor and IOP (11A-7 : 30P) are Available

Monday to Friday

$20-$21 per hour plus full benefits (equivalent to $15,000 annually).

Tuition reimbursement is available

MUST have Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field;

Experience with children ages 3 to 17 in behavioral and mental health

Provides for the direct care and management of patient population of a partial care treatment center.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients
• Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the patient’s treatment plan.
• Provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context.
• Accurately records daily patient progress in the medical record as well as completing other required paperwork.
• Rides along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program.
• Maintains certification in Handle with Care behavior management system.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
