Purpose of Position The Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Philosophy invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Instructor in anthropology, sociology, philosophy, and religious studies.
Note : Position filled on an as need basis. Primary Responsibilities Candidates must be prepared to teach one or more of the following classes :
- introduction to cultural anthropology;
- introduction to archaeology (prehistory);
- world cultures;
- introduction to sociology;
- sociology of global inequalities;
- philosophy, individuals, and society;
- introduction to logic;
- philosophers, cultures, and creativity,
- philosophy of ethics;
- information ethics
- health care ethics; or
- world religions and cultures.
Courses may be offered on NKU's campus, online, or at area high schools. Qualifications M.A. in anthropology, sociology, philosophy, or religious studies required.
