We are embarking on an exciting journey to build a greater presence within North America and increase our market share. We are looking to identify an exceptional leader to undertake the newly created role of Transportation Projects Leader in Boston, MA.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage our significant track record delivering major transportation projects and further our market position within the Greater Boston area.

This role will be focused on building on our relationships with our key clients and the successful leadership of major projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Mott MacDonald’s effort to pursue major transportation projects in the Greater Boston market, enhancing awareness of our capabilities.
  • Partner with Business Development Managers and Regional and Global Transport Practice Leaders to drive business development.
  • Act as a Project Leader in the delivery of major transportation projects, providing account leadership and project management.
  • Support the identification of external talent to attract and engage high-caliber candidates.
  • Bring best practices and knowledge into Mott MacDonald’s North American business by connecting with key subject matter experts.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Demonstrate leadership in maintaining the ethical standards and values of Mott MacDonald.
  • Ensure correct governance policies and standards are implemented within the Unit.
  • Foster an environment where best practices on health, safety, and wellbeing are embedded.

About You :

  • Experience leading transit-related proposals and projects within the Greater Boston market.
  • Deep understanding of delivering successful transportation projects, particularly major transit-related infrastructure.
  • Advanced knowledge of delivery methods to provide technical insight for major Design / Build projects.
  • High level of competency in client and business development strategies.
  • Technical and commercial expertise, emphasizing design, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Visible leadership with the ability to present to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Possession of a MA PE license.
