Pay : $30-$34 Hourly

Who you are :

• Two-year degree, or high school degree or GED with a minimum of two years of experience in IT
• A+ certification and help desk experience preferred.
• Knowledge of and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, consider, and resolve issues or problems
• Knowledge of IT concepts and methods to participate in the planning and delivery of full range customer support services
• Experience with virus and malware removal
• Familiar with Office 365 and Google Apps
• Aptitude with IT ticketing systems
• Android / IOS operating systems experience
• Possess the ability to install, configure, upgrade, analyze, and troubleshoot all hardware and software components
• Must be proficient with computer, MS-Word, Outlook, Excel, and other office equipment.
• Skilled in problem solving and issue resolution
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

General Summary :

The IT professional is responsible for managing computer-based systems for residents and staff, providing prompt and accurate solutions while demonstrating exemplary hospitality and customer service.

The IT professional receives and reviews IT requirements, inquiries and problems concerning computer hardware, software, and services while working to resolve issues and provide solutions.

The IT professional troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves low level IT problems in response to resident and staff reported incidents.

The employee works independently, but within the framework the supervisor has established.

Essential Job Duties :

Provides computer support to residents and staff for IT equipment, software, systems and networks

• Assists with solving problems associated with deliveries in support of hardware or software orders
• Instructs users on proper use of IT systems and provides information to help improve IT operations
• Assists residents in setting up devices, .., Alexa / Siri / Google / Wi-Fi
• Receives and effectively responds to phone calls, walk-ins, or computer-generated service requests from residents and staff
• Routes / Escalates difficult and complex issues reported by residents or staff to the appropriate specialists for resolution, Life Care Services (LCS) IT Support Team
• Provides basic computer skills training to residents and staff
• Assists with the maintenance of proper hardware inventory, setup and installation of personal computers (PCs) and printer replacements
• Performs maintenance and makes repair / replacement recommendations on hardware
• Performs computer setups for meetings
• Learns the functionality and capabilities of the current systems and trains staff to utilize each function effectively and to its maximum potential

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS :

The work is mostly sedentary with occasional light physical effort such as walking, bending, and small equipment handling.

The IT professional must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. The IT professional may need to maneuver in small spaces and reach high places.

The IT professional may be exposed to communicable diseases, blood and bodily fluids that may contain HIV and or HBV. Though the work will mainly be performed indoors, there will be times where the IT professional will be required to travel outdoors and be subject to potential extreme weather conditions.
