Security Analyst Consultant

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Security Analyst Consultant .

Position type : Permanent.

Duration : 7 months with possible extension

Location : Remote

As Security Analyst Consultant , you will :

• Capable of technical communication with the subject matters to experts to resolve configuration / Health issues for assets.
• Able to follow documentation and standards operating procedures to ensure checks are being done in a consistent manner
• Has strong time management skills to ensure daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed on time.
• Experience In building queries in oracle to extract data.
• Strong scripting or Java skills to automate jobs.

Responsibilities :

Reviewing and promoting changes in a file integrity monitor. This will involve.

• Following up with teams that are responsible for providing business justifications for changes.
• Ensuring the business reasons makes sense for why the files changed.
• Escalating in the cases where a changes is unknown or a business reason is not received.
• Promoting the changes with the Business Reasons received.

Reviewing reports from a variety of systems (File Integrity Monitoring, Vulnerability Scanner, etc.) to ensure assets are :

• Configured properly in their respective tools.
• In a healthy state.
• Completing scheduled Jobs properly.

Experienced and Skills :

• Undergraduate degree in cyber security, information technology or computer science or 4 Years of Equivalent in the information technology.
• 2-4 years experience with windows or Unix systems
• 1-2 years of experience with ticketing applications relating to information technology.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range * : $ 84000 - $ 98,500 Per Annum

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
