PRN Pharmacy Tech-Inpatient position open in our Pharmacy! Come join our Valley View team!
We have an opening for a PRN Pharmacy Technician-Inpatient in our inpatient pharmacy.
As the Pharmacy Tech you procure and distribute medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures and protocols .
QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
Experience :
2-3 years pharmacy technician-inpatient hospital experience preferred.
Skills :
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
- Ability to work cooperatively with hospital and pharmacy staff.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency requests.
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.
- Ability to set priorities and solve problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing).
SALARY RANGE
- $22.08 to $32.47 / hour + 14% PRN differential pay.
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
- $2.25 / hour weekend shift differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Monday.
