Job Title : Field Service Crane Technician Company : Zenar Service Group Location : Prattville, AL Duties / Responsibilities : Inspect, repair / emergency repair, upgrade / modify, install / wire / startup and commission overhead cranes (all manufacturers and types).
Work in extreme conditions (heat / cold). Work at heights up to 135 feet with AWP (manlift). Electrical background and ability to troubleshoot are a plus.
Travel as needed, up to 75%. Ability to work independently. Valid Driver's License and clean driving record a must. Pay commensurate with experience Required Skills / Abilities Working knowledge of general electrical concepts.
Must be mechanically inclined. Works well independently and as a productive member of a team. Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
Education and Experience : High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements : Prolonged periods standing.
Must not have fear of heights. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis; lift 50# on occasion. Must have manual dexterity to repair / inspect a crane including bending, stooping, crawling, climbing and reaching.
