Scope of leadership role
The Finance Senior Manager will strategically lead both a Shared Service Function and business P&L. This role is pivotal in establishing new processes across Budgets (OpEx & CapEx), Forecasting, Profit / Loss, Inventory, and Cost Allocations.
The ideal candidate will be a blend of Controller, Accountant, and Finance subject matter expert, with a tremendous opportunity to make a global impact.
This position, reporting to the Sr Dir-FP&A, will be the business partner to the Digital Solutions team, driving Digital Transformation, innovating new revenue models, and enhancing the capabilities and profitability of our core businesses.
This hybrid position is located at Regal Rexnord's downtown Milwaukee, WI headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Shared Service Function for IT and Digital Solutions, managing $30M operating spend and $20M capex budget.
Run the P&L for an emerging business; influence and optimize reporting and business operating processes.
Develop and implement new processes for Budgets, Forecasting, Profit / Loss, Inventory, and Cost Allocations. Lead all aspects of the budget and forecasting processes for the function.
Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Provide financial reporting and insights by synthesizing monthly forecasts and actuals, to present budget strategy decision points to senior leaders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with a Finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Support the global Digital Solutions team in driving Digital Transformation initiatives.
Innovate and implement new revenue models to enhance profitability.
Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with corporate policies.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
Proven experience in managing Shared Service Functions and business P&L.
Strong knowledge of financial processes, including Budgets, Forecasting, Profit / Loss, Inventory, and Allocations.
Experience with SAP ERP system, Hyperion and / or OneStream is strongly preferred. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Proven ability to be hands on, roll up sleeves and demonstrate initiative; results-oriented. Has a mindset of continuous improvement and can embrace Regal Rexnord's 80 / 20 principles.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with Digital Transformation initiatives is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent ad hoc requests and changing priorities.
