Position Overview
The Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment at our facility.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience in maintenance, PLC programming, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and motor repair.
This individual will be a key member of our maintenance team and will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, and motors
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
- Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge and experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and electrical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and overtime as needed
- Understanding of safety protocols and regulations
