RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Sales Development Representative’s primary job responsibilities will include :
- Source new sales opportunities through lead creation and follow-up.
- Research accounts to understand needs, identify key contacts, and generate interest.
- Qualify leads as sales opportunities using a variety of criteria, including business pain, budget, and timeline.
- Schedule discovery meetings between prospective clients and Account Executives.
- Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects by capturing and managing information within Salesforce.
- Provide sales support by managing customer implementation and creating customer agreements.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly quotas of discovery meetings and qualified opportunities.
- Attend industry events and trade shows as necessary.
- Keep abreast of the industry and market trends, as well as competitive positioning.
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree is required to be considered for this position.
- 1+ years of proven sales experience with a track record of over-achieving quota is preferred.
- Strong desire for growth into a sales support or direct sales role.
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred.
- Experience working with sales engagement platforms like Outreach or similar preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Up to 10% travel may be required for industry events.
