Summary
This position is located in the IS Department. The incumbent directly supervises all computer and data systems for the Casino and is responsible and accountable for assuring the protection of all systems.
They are accountable for cooperating with other departments, implementing policies and procedures and assuring compliance with the Minimum Internal Control Standards as they affect the department.
They maintain good working relationship with other management and ensure the objectives of the Casino are met. Data / Network Supervisor will report all discrepancies to Casino Management.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In the entertainment industry, one may be subject to a work environment containing excessive noise, smoke, and stress.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ensure all gaming machines are properly interfaced with the system and incorporate new equipment / upgrades in accordance with applicable directives.
- Operates, maintains and assures all computer and data systems are working for all departments of the Casino
- Assures all administrative duties are performed for all computer systems.
- Provides and implements direct customer service for any department with computer or data systems.
- Must understand and comply with the System of Minimum Internal Control Standards.
- Assures compliance with policies and procedures in a consistent manner.
- Trains slot technicians and management on the Synkros system.
- Generates and analyzes Synkros slot reports, documenting variances, slot needing repair, and informs Casino Management of all findings.
- Ensure repair for Synkros system is kept on hand in sufficient quantities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to train employees.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a smoking environment.
- Ability to speak read and write English fluently.
- Ability to follow all CDC guidelines in regard to COVID-19.
Qualifications
- Must know and understand the State Gaming Compact and operational policies and procedures.
- Must be certifiable through the Cocopah Tribal Gaming Office and the Arizona Department of Gaming.
- Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or must obtain upon hire.
Education and / or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 1-year equivalent to at least TS-6, 2-year specialized work experience, 4- years in a related field, management or director position.
- All applicants must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
