We are looking for an experienced bulk chemical Terminal Manager to join our team in Gary, IN.
- At Quality Carriers, you will be committed to adding value by providing customers with safe, efficient, and error-free service;
- supply chain cost reductions; and technical support. As a Terminal Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of terminal operations, including dispatch and driver supervision;
customer service and satisfaction; billing and terminal profitability.
Essential functions includes :
- Supervising daily dispatch functions (i.e. assisting with decision making and driver management).
- Driver recruitment, retention, payroll, correcting settlement issues, maintenance and enforcement of safety compliance.
- Monitoring dispatched loads to ensure equipment coverage and availability.
- Customer Service in regards to rates, service, and resolution.
- Monitoring terminal expenses and revenue.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Business Degree preferred, HS Diploma required
- 5+ years Supervisory experience in a trucking environment
5+ years bulk tank truck experience preferred
Good communication and customer service skills
Strong business acumen
Working knowledge of budgets (P&Ls)
