Cleanliness and Contamination Control Manager

The Cleanliness and Contamination Control Manager is responsible for overseeing cleanliness and contamination control at a manufacturing site.
This role ensures compliance with various standards and regulations, driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and maintain cleanliness and contamination control strategies : Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and contamination control across the manufacturing site.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives : Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance cleanliness and contamination control processes, ensuring they are efficient and effective.
- Create and update procedures : Develop, document, and update procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Ensure that all procedures are clearly communicated and understood by relevant personnel.
- Ensure compliance : Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to cleanliness and contamination control.
- Lead investigations : Conduct thorough investigations into contamination incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Act as a subject matter expert : Provide guidance and support during operations and audits, acting as a subject matter expert on cleanliness and contamination control.
Offer expertise and advice to other departments and teams as needed.
- Train and educate staff : Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on cleanliness and contamination control best practices, ensuring that all personnel are knowledgeable and compliant.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams : Work closely with other departments, such as Quality Assurance, Production, and Engineering, to ensure that cleanliness and contamination control measures are integrated into all aspects of the manufacturing process.
- Monitor and analyze data : Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to cleanliness and contamination control. Use this data to identify trends, assess the effectiveness of current measures, and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
- Prepare reports and documentation : Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to cleanliness and contamination control activities, including investigation findings, corrective actions, and compliance status.
Required Knowledge and Skills :
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and ISO standards.
- Relevant scientific degree (e.g., microbiology, chemistry, or related field).
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in statistical data analysis and interpretation.
- Experience in contamination control within a manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.

- Ability to manage and drive multiple improvement projects simultaneously.
- Strong skills in implementing clear and effective procedures.
- Capability to assess the impact of manufacturing changes on contamination and cleanliness control.
