Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Develop and advise on company policy and legal positions.
- Provide timely legal advice on various issues.
- Anticipate and mitigate legal risks.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Draft, structure, and review legal documents and reports.
- Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts.
- Assist in litigation, claims, and risk management.
Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of relevant law firm or in-house experience.
- Strong background in corporate law, preferably in marketing, intellectual property, antitrust, and corporate governance.
- Additional experience in employment law, environmental law, finance, tax, IT, and contract law is a plus.
- Experience in legal support for manufacturing operations preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and managerial skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet research tools.
- Juris Doctor degree and current Kansas law license (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
