Job Description
H&E Rentals has an immediate opening for a Service Manager to join our team. The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all service operations, including customer relations, P&L budgeting for the department, training of service employees, management of service technicians’ work area, prioritization of work orders, and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.

Service Manager Key Responsibilities :
- Service Operations Management : Lead and oversee all service operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Relations : Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication.
- Financial Management : Manage P&L budgeting for the service department to achieve financial targets and objectives.
- Employee Training & Development : Provide training, coaching, and support to service employees to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Work Area Management : Supervise and manage the service technicians’ work area to ensure organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
- Work Order Prioritization : Prioritize and allocate work orders effectively to meet customer needs and operational requirements.
- Safety Compliance : Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed by service technicians and staff.
Service Manager Preferred Job Requirements :
- Management Experience : 2-5 years of experience in management or supervision of repair, installation, service, support, or other leadership roles.
- Administrative Skills : Strong administrative, organizational, and service-oriented capabilities.
- Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in MS Office Suite, smartphones, and tablets.
- Leadership Qualities : Ability to inspire, lead, and motivate others with a quick learning ability.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service and team collaboration.
