Description : CrowdPlat, Inc. is seeking a Database Administrator 2 to support the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for database design, development, and performance tuning, specifically working with Oracle databases.
This role involves advanced database development tasks, creating new logical and physical data models, and optimizing database performance during and after migration.
The role requires strong expertise in Oracle databases, performance tuning, PL / SQL development, and Linux scripting. The candidate will work closely with the team to create and maintain data models and ensure the efficient management of databases used by the Financial Data Warehouse.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform database design, development, and performance tuning for Oracle databases.
- Create and maintain logical and physical data models.
- Develop and test PL / SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Optimize database performance and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet database requirements and standards.
- Monitor database health, implement security measures, and provide technical support.
Required Skills :
- 6 years of experience in Oracle database design, analysis, and performance tuning.
- 6 years of experience in Oracle database structures and data analysis.
- 6 years of experience designing enterprise applications and / or services.
- 6 years of experience creating technical and functional design documentation.
- 6 years of experience with the software development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies.
- 6 years of experience in multi-tier system / application development (e.g., SOA, Microservices).
Preferred Skills :
- 1 year of experience with Jira.
- 1 year of experience with Oracle Certification.
- Experience with data warehouse applications and database reporting features.
- Work Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (CST)
