Banquet Server

Banquet Server Job Responsibilities :
- Serves patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
- Provides information to help food and beverage selections.
- Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
- Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
- Prepares buffets for service by setting up chafing dishes, risers, and signage per floorplan.
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
- Serves orders by picking up and delivering buffet options and patrons’ choices from bar and kitchen and delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars as needed.
- Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process.
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
- Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements :
- 1-3 years of banquet server experience is a must.
- Our event servers will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time) and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance).
Events occur at The Turn House Monday - Sunday, during the day and the evening.
- Your schedule will differ each week with expected hours of 10-35 hours weekly.
- Nights and Weekends are a must.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- THIS IS AN HOURLY POSITION with only occasional tips. Starting wages from $18-20 per hour commensurate with experience and qualifications.
